At Milo, we prioritize user safety and take reports of inappropriate behavior seriously. Below, you’ll find information on how to stay safe while using Milo and how to report concerns.
🔹 Staying Safe on Milo
Here are some safety tips to help you have a positive experience:
- Keep personal information private: Avoid sharing sensitive details like your phone number, address, or financial information with other users.
- Use in-app messaging: Communicate within the Milo app before deciding to meet in person.
- Meet in public places: If you choose to meet someone, arrange to meet in a well-lit, public space.
- Trust your instincts: If something feels off, take a step back and reconsider your interaction.

🔹 How to Report Users or Content
If you come across inappropriate content or a user violating our guidelines, follow these steps:
Reporting Content in a Profile
- Scroll down in the user's profile.
- Tap on "Block Profile or Report" button.
- Pick a reason from the list (e.g., Spam account, inappropriate content, etc.).
Reporting a Message
- Tap and hold on the message you want to report.
- Tap on the "Report" button in the bottom sheet labeled "Message Actions."
- Select a reason for reporting the message.
- Done! Our moderation team will review the report within 24 hours.
You can also report content by emailing [email protected] with relevant details and screenshots.
🔹 Blocking Abusive Users
If you want to stop someone from interacting with you, you can use the Just Block action:
- Go to the user’s profile.
- Tap on “Block Profile or Report“.
- Select “Just block”, and the user will no longer be able to contact you.
Blocking a user prevents them from seeing your profile and messaging you. They will not be notified that they have been blocked.
🔹 Content Moderation
Milo has a strict content moderation policy:
- Objectionable content is reviewed manually by our moderation team.
- Users can flag content, and we take action within 24 hours.
- Serious violations may lead to account suspension or removal.
- Every publicly created content is verified and monitored by the Milo Team to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Even small profile changes, such as updating a job title, are reviewed by the Milo Team.
